Description
Acnecide Face Wash is a clinically proven spot treatment for mild facial acne, targeting both blackheads and whiteheads. It contains 5% Benzoyl Peroxide, an effective antibacterial agent that eliminates up to 95% of acne-causing bacteria.
This wash-off gel is designed for use on the face, combining acne-fighting efficacy with microsphere technology to absorb excess oil and release glycerine to hydrate and soothe the skin.
Suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. Always read the patient leaflet for important safety information and instructions for first-time use.

1. Start Slowly:
- For first-time users, apply once daily on alternate days, preferably in the evening before bed.
2. Preparation:- Wet the affected area before application.
- Wash hands before use.
3. Application:
- Dispense a small amount of gel onto your hands.
- Gently apply it over the affected areas.
- Leave on for 1 to 2 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water and patting dry.
4. Post-Use:- Wash hands thoroughly after application.
- Replace the cap tightly.
5. Gradual Adjustment:- If your skin reacts well (only mild redness or peeling after 2–3 days), you may increase to twice daily use (morning and evening).
- If irritation worsens (burning, redness, peeling), reduce to once daily. Stop use if symptoms persist and consult your doctor.
Note: Expect some mild burning, peeling, or redness initially—this is normal. Stop use and seek advice if symptoms become severe.

WARNING:
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, angles of the nose, and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Do not apply to broken, irritated, or sunburnt skin.
- May cause skin dryness, peeling, or redness, especially at the start of treatment. If severe irritation occurs, reduce usage frequency or discontinue use temporarily.
- Use with caution if also using other topical acne treatments, as this may increase skin irritation.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds during use – benzoyl peroxide increases sensitivity to sunlight.
- May bleach hair and coloured fabrics (clothing, towels, bedding). Allow gel to fully dry before contact.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years old.
