Hot Therapy Instructions
Hot Water Method:
- Boil approximately 4–5 liters of water and remove from heat.
- Immerse the pack in the hot water for about 10 minutes.
- Carefully remove the pack and insert it into the provided towel cover before applying to the skin.
Microwave Method:
- Flatten the pack to evenly distribute the gel.
- If at room temperature, microwave on high for 30 seconds, then let it stand for 30 seconds.
- If additional heat is needed, microwave in 10-second increments, allowing equal standing time after each interval, until the desired temperature is reached.
- If the pack is frozen, start by microwaving on medium for 60 seconds, then let it stand for 60 seconds.
- Always insert the heated pack into the towel cover before applying to the skin
Cold Therapy Instructions
- Place the pack in the freezer for at least 2 hours before use.
- Insert the cold pack into the provided towel cover to insulate the cold.
- Apply to the affected area for 15–20 minutes.
- Repeat every 1 to 1.5 hours as needed.
- Do not apply the cold pack directly to the skin straight from the freezer to avoid frostbite
