Calpol Infant Sugar-Free Suspension is a strawberry-flavored oral medicine designed to relieve pain and reduce fever in children aged 2 months to 6 years. Each 5ml dose contains 120mg of paracetamol, providing effective relief from teething pain, headaches, sore throats, earaches, colds, flu, and post-immunization fever. - Before each use, shake the bottle thoroughly for at least 10 seconds.
- Use the provided syringe to measure the correct dose based on your child's age and weight:
2–3 months: 2.5ml. If necessary, after 4–6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose.
NOTE: Only give if your baby weighs over 4kg and was born after 37 weeks.
Do not give more than 2 doses.
3–6 months: 2.5ml up to 4 times in 24 hours.
6–24 months: 5ml up to 4 times in 24 hours.
2–4 years: 7.5ml (5ml + 2.5ml) up to 4 times in 24 hours.
4–6 years: 10ml (5ml + 5ml) up to 4 times in 24 hours.
- Give the dose orally using the syringe.
- Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
- Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.
