1. Clean and dry the affected area: Wash the skin around the blister or sore with mild soap and water. Pat dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
2. Avoid touching the adhesive side: To maintain effectiveness, do not touch the sticky side of the Compeed patch.
3. Apply the patch: Peel off the backing and place the patch directly over the blister or sore. Press gently to ensure it adheres securely.
4. Leave it in place: Keep the patch on until it begins to detach naturally. Do not remove it forcefully to prevent skin damage.
5. Replace if necessary: If the patch comes loose or no longer protects the area effectively, clean the skin again and apply a fresh patch.
6. Remove gently: Slowly peel from the edge when removing, and discard.
