Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
Insert a Cano blood glucose test strip into the meter; the device will turn on automatically.
- Prepare the Lancing Device:
Insert a sterile lancet into the lancing device and adjust the depth if needed.
Remove the lancet cap.
- Obtain a Blood Sample:
Gently prick the side of your fingertip using the lancing device.
Squeeze lightly to form a small drop of blood.
- Test Your Blood Glucose:
Touch the edge of the test strip to the blood drop.
The meter will draw in the sample automatically.
- Read the Result:
Wait a few seconds for the blood glucose result to appear on the display.
Record the reading if required or review stored results using the memory function.
- After Testing:
Safely remove and dispose of the used lancet and test strip in a sharps container.
Turn off the meter (if it does not switch off automatically).
