Ferrous fumarate 210mg tablets

1. Best absorbed on an empty stomach: 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals
   
2. If gastrointestinal upset occurs, may be taken with food
   
3. Avoid tea, coffee, milk, eggs, dairy, or antacids within 2 hours before or after dosing, as these interfere with absorption.
   
4. Take with water or orange juice (vitamin C enhances absorption)

Active: 210 mg Ferrous fumarate (≈ 65–70 mg elemental iron) per tablet.

WARNING

• Keep out of reach of children—iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six.
  
• Contraindicated in iron overload conditions (e.g., hemochromatosis), hemolytic anemia, active peptic ulcer, ulcerative colitis, or frequent blood transfusions.
  
• Drug interactions: iron absorption is reduced by tetracyclines, levodopa, bisphosphonates, zinc/calcium supplements, antacids, and others—space dosing by ~2–3 hours.
  
• Use with caution in individuals with ulcers, previous gastrointestinal surgeries, renal or liver disease, or certain tumors; monitor with medical supervision
