    • Choose the correct hand – Make sure you have the right- or left-hand version of the brace, as applicable.
      Insert your thumb – Slide your thumb into the thumb opening until it fits comfortably into the rigid support.
      Position the brace – Ensure the rigid splint sits along the side of your thumb, stabilizing the thumb joint.
      Secure the straps – Fasten the wrist and thumb straps using the hook-and-loop (Velcro) closures. Tighten until the brace feels snug but not overly tight.
      Check the fit – Your thumb should be well supported while your fingers remain free to move. The brace should not cause numbness, tingling, or restrict blood circulation.
      Wear as directed – Use the brace during activities that aggravate your thumb or as recommended by your healthcare professional. Remove it for bathing unless the manufacturer specifically states it is waterproof
